I Went to the Ron Mueck Exhibition not so long ago, probably one of the most impressive exhibitions i have been to in a long time. The Head here is called Mask II, and is a self portrait.

Went out a couple of nights ago to do some long exposures with a friend of mine. We found this neat we fountain. This is only a we part of it. there were lots of the pink fountains but i really liked the look of the nice big blue one!

Today we had 32 aftershocks, alot of them were very sizable. One was centered 2 blocks from my house. The city got quite alot more damage, streets were cordend etc etc. Here is a shot of Hereford St and the shops that are indeed of assessment after today’s shakes.

This was taken down at The Gap Filler, this is a really cool idea that a few Christchurch people came up with.
After the earthquake there are a lot of vacant lots in the city. The idea is to put on live film, music, and poetry in these areas.
This is Ed Muzik and The Burning Sensations playing before a film shot in Christchurch in 1928 was shown.
South Of The Boarder Donated the land there building use to be on for the event.

It is now over 24 hours after the earthquake, i am at my friends place because we do not have power or water at my place. There is a curfew from 7pm to 7am in the cbd, which is where i live. This picture was taken a few minutes after the quake.
It measured 7.1, and thankfully no one has been killed.
We are currently in a state of emergency and the civil defense is warning of winds of 130km today.
More photos from the night and into the next day will follow this.
